HERES how to fix it:

STEP 1- on the XMB menu delete the black ops 2 update
STEP 2-make sure you are signed out of psn
STEP 3-start black ops 2 and update it
STEP 4-go on multiplayer/zombies (you still have to be signed out)
STEP 5- sign on using the XMB menu not by clicking on the online
STEP 6-then click online and you should connect to the server(btw before clicking online try going on options then pressing select first and see the version and connectivity thing)

For those who don't care and insist on going online. Try loading the actual game from the drive and not backup managers or eboots. I bet you can evade a ban this way. Loading a backup you own doesn't cut it. Sony wants proof, if they still ban you, then it's cfw itself they're going after and not just pirates/cheaters/backups.

Do this only if you don't care about bans.

i play my offically bought warhawk on cfw 4.30 i've being doing it since the ps3 scene(psjailbreak) happened.
may be just luck, but maybe one day i'll get banned.
i have an ofw ps3 upstairs in one of my rooms so psn no biggie for me.
i just play warhawk on the hacked one because im lazy to go upstairs sometimes.

i was banned like 2 weeks ago after converting back from dex to cex,my console gives me the same error 8002A224!

Thats how i got banned. Have retail disk and cant connect to servers. See my post page 3.
abd to the fix does it work? Think its due to acct name and ip. Changed both and got to the lobby.

I was referring to a psn ban, not cod ban,unless you can't log on psn either?
