Is this "downgrader" one of those flashers? Once we upgrade to any of these latest DEX CFWs, there is no way to downgrade (back to 3.55 kmeaw cfw) without this extra hardware, right?

No hardware required. 3.55 Downgrader is an update file. If you want to go back to CEX that's a whole different story. However once again no hardware needed

Ah crap, that's what I meant, CEX, since DEX seems worthless to have now (unless your a developer). So with that said, same thing, downgrading back to 3.55 kmeaw is easy and safe enough WITHOUT a flasher, right? Wouldn't want to be stuck on one of these new CFW's only to found out some better one comes out that can only be installed from 3.55 cfw (like many have this requirement it looks like).

You can't install REX on DEX, only on CEX ....

So we have to convert back to CEX first, and I don't want that ... I want to keep my DEX on DEX and use my other CEX PS3 for REX ...

Quick question I'm on 4.50 stock firmware. When I tried to install 3.55 CFW on my slim PS3 it said it could upgrade 3.66 up so does that mean I can install this? Thanks
