Hello everybody,

I just have one question before I hack PS3.

I have PS3 with OFW 2.10. Is it safe to upgrade it straight to OFW 3.55, or is there any specific order in which I should upgrade to get to OFW 3.55?

Since it is the offical FW, I don't think there should be any problem, but I just want to make sure, and can't find any information about this.

1-PS3 (v4.21) FAT NAND CECH03G 40 GB
2-PS3 (v4.31) Slim NOR CECH-2504B date code 1A 320 GB

i need to hack one of them,it is possible?if yes how?

they told me that the NAND is very difficult because its need soldering.

i need really your help guys

1A 	January, February, March / 2011 	Sometimes 	3.56, 3.60 	3.55 or 3.56

Use minvercheck :http://tinyurl.com/d7pl6cp to test if it can be downgraded.

Either way you will need a flasher to downgrade and there are plenty to n00b proof tutorials on how to do so.

The fat = NAND, the slim = NOR, you will need to figure out which you are going to hack and buy one that is appropriate, along with a FSM dongle.

Dont be lazy, search and read

The fat one yes not a problem. Going on the date code the fats is the one to do, but as mentioned you will need a flasher

my friend thank you all these information i know it already but i am not sure about the nor,doesnt means that i didnt search that i am lazy.

i search in every where english forum or arabic forum but i didnt know which one i have to choose to jailbreak.
