$ony knows damn well they are going to release backwards compatible PS4s early in there life cycle just like they did with the PS3s. Most likely they will have issues though as being a prototype. For example PHAT model PS3s are subjected to have YLOD more. And about them doing Cloud games, most likely bull$hit because they will make more money selling actual disc. Games are already available via Gamestores and RedBox. Why abandon this? Of course they are prepping for the future.

Not if it only runs on the x86 PS4 ...
But it would be subject to big hacker attempts to make it work on a normal x86 PC

i dont think thats is possible to build a X86/x64 PS3 EMU never..
the AMD A-10 APU atm have 4 x 3,8 GHz up to 4,2GHz and the lastet Redeon 7660D if we take a High end Gaming PC it has more power then the A10 APU so i dont think sony will go this way. and look to the PCSX2 project what you need to have a stable working Emu that is the point i say there will never comes a PS3 EMU. |
