Tried on multiple accounts and while offline. Even though I'm offline, it seems the LAN led is blinking. Maybe I'll try disabling internet.

Well I don't know about that. I was playing Duplex Release 5 days before release. Bought the original (on CFW ofcourse) and I was banned. Then I gave the original to friend for him to back up, his online still works. He has my backup on his PS3 and online works for him. No problems for the last two days, he was playing it this afternoon.

I have been unable to get on both BO2 and MW3 under my account since all this started. Just about 30 minutes ago I tried MW3 and it didnt work, tried it again 2 min later and now MW3 is working fine. On same machine my friends account stopped working on BO2 launch and started working for BO2 Wed night. I dont think it is a ban, a ban would not have let him back on BO2 nor I back on MW3.

MW3 and BO2 have completely different makers and thus servers. MW3 is Infinity Ward and BO2 is Treyarch ... I have been playing MW3 on my BO2 banned account today with no problem whatsoever. BO2 doesn't work for me.

OK, not arguing with you with my response you could be 100% correct in your logic, but why was I getting same error on MW3 as BO2 and then it stopped on MW3. As well why did my friends account not work and then start working on BO2. All this was on the same console, wouldnt they just ban the console or both accounts that accessed server from my console. Friends account still works just fine no problems at all.

I actually rented a disk from redbox, worked perfectly fine until after I copied and returned the disc. I could no longer connect to servers after playing a few mins in a game I just got disconnected.

Off to play mw3 then for the weekend. I have a feeling we won't be able to play blops2 thru backup for a long ass time. And I'm fine with that since we have plenty of games to keep us busy anyways.
