Because i've installed kmeaw firmare and after that the xmb screen started to flash "black screen" same on MM, thats wy.

I think i've done everything, ofw 3.55 then kmeaw 3.55 rebuid system etc. but i have not erased the PS3 640gb hdd full of games

So any suggestions?

Ok, i was on wankys firmware v2 and i installed new game and got trophy error.

did a research about the problem and didn't get any special info, so i installed ofw3.55 and then kmeaw 3.55. Installed the new MM 4.11.11 over the oldest one.

trophy error was gone but then came the blackscreen flashing on xmb and on MM ( it looks like if your graphic card/ cpu is overheated) but not during gameplay, i dont get it

i had it on my old phat PS3 and now on my slim, never had problem with that firmware.

i had a trophy error so a changed the fw to kmeaw and now i have problems with a blackscreen flashing on xmb and on MM

thats why i'm asking for waninkoko

no, i'm not selling my PS3, i'm a handy man i'll fix it some way. Backup the hdd on ps3, then i wipe it =)

sorry to say but thats out dated why dont you just install kmeaw or latest rebug 4.21 cfw or rogero 4.30 cfw ?

i had wanikoko fw installed and after a trophy error i installed kmeaw firmware, now i have som problems with xmb and mm with flashing screen and its not overheated that was my first thougth.

i formated the hdd and installed rogeros cfw 3.55, 370a. still the same problem. I Dont have the problem in gameplay, strange!

waninkoko fw use syscall 6 and 7
