The server for NBA 2K12 is down for everyone. not sure if servers got taken down or if their is maintenance going on.

I figured out why the first Black Ops wasn't working for me. Nothing to do with $ony, 3arc or CFW. It was because my video settings were changed when I was at a friend's place.

During game start up, ofw, the disc is going nutz inside the ps3 spinning and stopping and such so maybe they have some voodoo that none of the other devs do to check for CFW or that disc is actually in the drive. Though placing disc in drive still would not let any accounts sign in from my "banned " console.

yep when i played on ofw i was like what the **** i know i skiped this ****.

Something is definitely going on. Maybe it's like a reDRM dongle partition built into the disc or something. They're able to check it somehow.

they are blocking cfw users plain and simple. and if they block a few innocent bystanders they dont care. my ofw works flawless. i tried to sign in with banned account on ofw and get freeze. i go to other account and its fine.

That's exactly what they're doing. They're picking and choosing who can play their game...even if you pay for it. They shouldn't have any input on what you do with your system. I remember the days of when COD was riding the coat tails of MOH. Now they're dictating their fans and customers actions. Another thing I've noticed is that this is the only game I have that I can't get to launch if I have anything in any of the USB drives.

Good thing i havent even booted BO2 yet. Maybe a workaround with the help of devs would convince me otherwise. Btw yesterday i did try connecting to mw3 but could not find any games which got me thinking, is mw3 allright or all cod titles are being *****es?

1. Never installed blops2 on my ps3 which has 3.55 kmeaw
2. Been playing MW3 before the whole blops2 ban situation without ever a problem.
3. Will sign on right now for mw3 and come back with update.

Edit... Signed in successfully and played one match. Problem is I still suck. Lol
