So you want me to format again?
When I did it the first time i was on Rog 4.3 v1.0 then I did the downgrade process.
I did use the ofw when I downgraded and I did use the instructions off of tortuga-cove
using all of their fw links to get back to 4.3 v1.4.
I got and always have gotten my mm files from ps3hax front page links
I uninstalled the Ninja app last night and that is all I had installed, I have never used anything else.

Upgraded from cfw kmeaw 3.55 to rogero 4.30 1.04 trough recovery. Tha icons in xmb doesn't sort by my choice and the backups won't run. Already deleted MM and installed the new one 04.11.12 and still the same. It sends me back to XMB. Removed the patched eboots and other files patched and replaced by the original ones and nothing. It tries to load the game but send me back again to XMB. What am i doing wrong? Already been in recovery doing the factory settings reset. Still the same...

I would try to downgrade to rogero cfw 3.7 and then install ofw 3.55 and then again rogero cfw 3.7 update to rogero cfw 4.30 v 1.04 in recovery mode!!! think tahat would be the best way to se if there is something gone wrong in your installation?

Hi...that's not the way.I've been testing some ideas...It works now... For those who are kicked back to xmb after loading a game without error, simply go to recovery menu and restore file system, wait until it is done and then go again to recovery menu and rebuild database. After that you'll be able to play your backups.

I do not agree. Great that you got it working!! but i think it would be better with a clean install instead. but thats just me ;-)

I think i have to agree with you. Is better with a clean install of course. But i have to disagree with the downgrade/upgrade method as first intervention when you face a problem. First we need to explore all the ps3 possibilities. I had a corrupted filesystem and a corrupted database. That's what was "f*ck1ng" up my system. As soon i did that, all my backups worked, so if anyone has this problem give it a try before downgrading/upgrading again because if you have a corrupted filesystem and/or database it will say so and hopefully it will work for you too.

Can i in any way (except the e3 flasher) get my 4.30 OFW PS3 to 4.30 CFW , when ever i try to install through the XMB it wont let me and through recovery mode. Or im i forced to buy an E3 Flasher ? Please respond

if you want cfw you need to have a hardware flasher if your on ofw 3.56 or above

I had this problem also, sometimes the backup would run but most of the time when I launched it I would end up in the xmb, no errors shown.
I did the system file restoring and the database rebuild but it didn't work...
My guess is that it has something to do with the reActpsn, you know it gives you a warning about corrupted file system when you activate the games... I'm not sure about the causes and don't know how to solve it, but I'll reinstall the CFW, maybe it fixes that issue
