Slow FTP transfer?
Hey all.
Im transfering a game from my pc to my ps3 with multiman. But i can see it only uses about 10 % of my network connection. Im not using a FTP program just ftp from windows. It is on wired 1000mbit both the ps3 and my pc. Is there a limited in multiman or so? Regards Daniel |

Thats because your ps3 is only using a 100mbit lan connection, so it uses only 10% of your pc connection. If you want 1gbit speeds, you have to connect a crossover cable from your pc to your ps3
![]() Also make sure your ps3 is well configured so it sees 1gbit lan and not 100mbit |

go into network settings and set a wired connection in custom mode, and read the options available. If it wont recognise the gigabit connection, force it in network settings selecting 1000Mbps full duplex

well my ps3 has a cable to my cisco router (1000mbit) so my speeds are around 70MB/s.
the ps3 has an gigabit connection but youre router needs to support that 2.
