Does anyone think 4.30 ofw will ever be hackable with out downgrading or E3 or progsheet ? Reason why I'm asking is because my cfw PS3 got the YLOD again. I'm going to send it off to get repaired this time. (NOT SENDING IT TO SONY!) I have a ofw 4.30 PS3 so I was just hoping maybe one day I'll be able to hack that one as well

Another great advantage of using a dex firmware is if your laser is broken and you want to run games that require a disk...

But maybe you can do this too with the new multiman rex stuff.. havent tested it though

I believe you can on Rex by installing a package.

I just installed this cfw then i installed mm and started a game but when i got back to xmb the option/icon of the loaded bd emulated game got screwed up?! it just shows a question mark with the text "Unsupported Data"

i used DEX: multiMAN ver 04.11.12 and multiMAN ver 04.11.13 BASE CEX going to test multiMAN ver 04.11.13 BASE DEX now

Same problem with multiMAN ver 04.11.13 BASE DEX!

Maybe @Rancid-o can give a hint to explain this behavior..

any suggestions?

Has anyone installed game updates? If so do you install a CEX or DEX pkg? I used http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?t=42719 when using BDEMU. Are DEX updates needed with this FW?
