Burned PS2 Games

Ive got a question.
Ive got a bunch of copied PS2 games.. But i dont have my PS2 anymore.
Is there a possibility to play them on my PS3?
I ask this because everytime is search for this i'm coming on topics about playing PSX games on the PS3.. And i dont need that

Short answer to your question is no. If you have a BC ps3 then you would be able to play retail ps2 games. Also I remember some months ago that someone released a way to play PS2 games on slim and phat ps3's by going into FSM. Though I don't think the compatibility was that great and I think it was again meant for retail ps2 disc only.

If you have a Backward Compatible console that is on the most current firmware, there are two methods.
1.) Swap Magic/USBLoader
2.) Switch method.

If you are on CFW, you can add Cobra.
