You will notice a post recently about negative aspects of the Wii U that was created by @hellsing9 .

Also this is a PS3 Hacking forum and until @Pirate gets his finger out and creates a Wii/WiiU section, im wasting my energy posting Wii stuff.

Personally i would love to post more than PS3 news, but im limited unfortunately

Edit
@Pirate www.wiiuhax.net is redirected to www.ps3hax.net, make a board on the forum dedicated to the Wii U please, so i can redirect the domain to that section.
It's just bad cop, good cop routine.
@GregoryRasputin takes care of talking about the possitive things about Wii-u while i try to understand the angry ones who bought the system and got a 5GB update on 8GB Wii-u.

Greg, there are many things wrong with WiiU. To name a few:
- On purchase your required to download a 5GB firmware before you can play online
- Your Nintendo Network ID will be locked to the account you originally register with
- This means if your console dies you won't be able to get it back
- This also means you can't login to your Nintendo Network account on another console
- On NeoGaf someone has already hacked the Nintendo Miiverse

EDIT: Nintendo claims the menu is only a mockup and has disabled access.

The 8GB Wii U is functioning correctly. It's clear this Wii U's memory is only for meant game saves and system updates. There is no way it was meant to download a lot of content from the eShop. Nintendo clearly states that additional memory via usb storage device is optional and can be added by the user. There are full length retail games for sale at the eShop, there is no way in hell that Assassin's Creed 3 is going to download to a Wii U with 8GB internal storage. Why can't people get over the fact that there was a 5GB update to the Wii U, and both versions of the Wii U have more than enough internal memory to install the update, and future updates. At any point if the internal storage becomes full, the user can transfer content to an external usb storage device, isn't that just as good as purchasing the 32GB version of the Wii U?

That still isn't a valid excuse for releasing a 5gb update. Some people have limited bandwidth, not to mention that this update should have been applied at factory...

Well, there is only one reason why the update wasn't applied before the consoles left the factory, this allowed more consoles to be produced and sold instead of the factory shut down while waiting to get the update and install it before shipping. btw, the update download was only about 1GB compressed, then once the the update downloaded and installed at about 4.75GB uncompressed.

They did not have to stop production. The console should have come out complete, not having a half-a$$ed firmware requires almost 5gb more of data.

Well, I didn't have a problem installing the update, and I wasn't complaining about it. I wonder what is the actual percentage of Wii U owners that took to the internet and complained about anything? To me it seems that a lot of people that don't own the Wii U creating a bunch of hype over nothing. If I was to complain about something, it will be the EULA I agreed to, to get the damn thing working.

Whilst the download is bad, i think the size is exaggerated and its a one off.

I don't think that is completely true, there will be a way to deactivate it should your console die.
In the future, you will be able to use your Nintendo Network Account with future Nintendo consoles and other devices, such as PC's.

That actually makes sense, stops game sharing

That is the most false statement of them all, no one "hacked" Miiverse, he found a secret menu by hovering over a button, finding a secret menu by hovering over a button isn't hacking.

Again, i did not say that the Wii U had no problems.

With problems or without them the ones who like the product will buy it anyways.
Is relative, yeah i can say for sure that 5GB of update it's kinda lame coming from them.

But will not make any difference to the potential buyer.
Yeah you have to deal with that update and some other issues but still is something that worths trying it, if you are interested enough. (and you have the money)

If you don't like just sell it (if you already purchased it) or just stay away until the company figures out how to try to make everybody *happy*.

For me it's another portable on the market from Nintendo (Aka for the family to use).
You want mature games or filled with violence, gore, etc.
You have PS3/Xbox360, not some another poor excuse to say *We are still here making progress*.
Give me a break.
Love the specs tough but i will hate if they are planning to manufacture some XL of this one.
