Updating to 4.30 CFW

I am on Kmeaw 3.55 with Rebug Spoofer 4.00 and I am looking to update to Rogero 4.30.

Can I uninstall the spoofer and go from Kmeaw 3.55 > QA Toggle > Rogero 4.30.
Or should I go from Kmeaw 3.55 > OFW 3.55 > Rogero 4.30.

Second question is when updating do my games on HDD get deleted?
If yes is there a way of preventing this?

Thanks

All the data is stored on the HDD. When you flash the firmware it flashes the NAND/NOR chip if I am not mistaken. Think of this as dedicated storage for the Playstation firmware / "software" only. So that is all which should be modified hence your data is safe provided all goes well with the upgrade

Anyone please correct me if this is incorrect.

The NOR is 16mb, updates are 170+mb so some of the update is stored on the HDD.

Well NAND = 256mb, so probably all in the NAND, but I'm not 100% sure if they spread it across the hdd and memory in some sort of AP protection.

I have never looked into this.
