I have stayed at 3.55 for various reasons but it seems that 4.30 cfw is pretty stable now? My question is which 4.30 cfw do i go for? rogero one or ermac? Also some concerns I have are

1) Is showtime available on 4.30?

2) How do I install dlc on 4.30? Or is it impossible at the moment

3) I believe I can just go on to psn straight away without any program on 4.30 cfw? However, I also read that there are ways to prevent me from getting banned. Anyone mind sharing more information on that?

4) I believe I need original eboot patches for newer games that were patched to 3.55. Now that I have updated to 4.30 cfw, does anyone know where to get the original eboot as I have deleted all of them after replacing those games to 3.55?

5) There was the bricking issues on some slim consoles when 4.30 cfw was first released. Is this problem solved completely now and any console on 3.55 will be able to update without bricking?

Why not rebug rex?

1, yes through mmCM

2, same way as 3.55

3, search the forum for info

4, update your games to latest updates and they will run (you can do this through mmCM too)

5, 99% are solved now.

Or you could try rebug 4.21. The only issue I have is getting that bloody metal gear HD to work. Everything else works fine

You dont need to replace eboots if it can be updated. You could always try @jjkkyu s True ancestor eboot resigner if you dont have your original eboots/games dont have an update/arent working, and re-sign them from 3.55 to 4.xx cfw.

Whats wrong with metal gear hd? I haven't ftp'd mine across to internal yet but I am going to be doing it in the near future!!

3. They're really is no way of guarranteeing you will not be banned. Currently the treyarch servers as well as the EA servers for Madden 13 are able to detect if you are playing a backup. Its only a matter of time before Sony implements this type of security across all games. So, if you dont want to be banned dont play BO2 which is all you would be banned from anyway. Everything else continues to work. Log onto Madden 13 and it just tells you that you cannot use the online so no big there either.
