Dont think it matters. Just the flasher thats poorly made. As long as you get the clip on right

No... Your model is either supported or not, if it IS supported and you manage to do everything right, it will work.
If it's not supported, nothing (apart from updates) will increase your chances. The flasher isn't really poorly made, It's just that those chips aren't designed to have stuff clipped on. The reason fail rate is so high is mostly E3 team named their guide "relegation flow", (i would never have guessed that that was a guide), and they forgot to mention some "little" facts, like that you need a dongle and TF card, so people are forced to spend more money or experiment....
