Wii U's tech specs aren't as impressive as initially thought and 4A Games won't be bringing Metro: Last Light to Nintendo's new console.

Nintendo’s Wii U is out in the US and with reports coming in that it is struggling in a number of areas, many are claiming its third party games aren’t quite up to the visual standard of their Xbox 360 and PS3 cousins.

That the Wii U struggles to render games (that run perfectly on the Xbox 360 and the PS3) is a worrying trend for Nintendo. In fact, some games currently scheduled for release on the 360, PS3 and PC won’t be heading to the Wii U at all because of the differences in processing power.

One of these titles will be 4 A Games’ Metro: Last Light. Chief technical officer, Oles Shishkovtsov, explains why Metro’s sequel won’t be appearing.

“[The] Wii U has a horrible, slow CPU,” said Shishkovtsov to NowGamer.

Even his colleage, Huw Beynon, confirmed there would not be a Wii U version of Metro: Last Light, and couldn't justify the effort required to bring a comparable version to the Wii U.

The Tekken Dev also said that the Wii U CPU sucked. I post news, could'nt give a f#ck whether it's good, bad, Ninty, Sony, Microsoft. Hows that make me biased

lol but you are biased, if you were not biased, you would not have added that bit at the end:

As i said before, regarding the hardware aspect of Ninty products, the Gamecube was superior to both the Dreamcast and the PS2, it pwned both those consoles in regards to hardware.

They try so hard to be different, but I just wish they'd go with the flow. They have a lackluster online service, refuse to adopt and prioritize conventional controller designs such as the PS3/360 controller and cannot get proper third party support to save their lives. I think homebrew is the only thing that can save this console. I feel bad for people that don't plan on hacking it.

every single console i have owned has sucked at launch in their own way.
the ps4 will suck
the xbox 720 will suck

but they will still sell and be successful

what the **** do people expect really?

we already have fullHD / 3D / remote play etc.

next gen systems are improvements of their own last gen.

i will get every one simply because i am a geek and dont care for the retarded fanboy bullsh*t that seems to surround system scenes. i find merit in each system on an individual basis.
power does not equal enjoyment. hell the ps3 cant even run skyrim correctly. does that mean the ps3 is a failed system? didnt think so
