PS3 Still sold faster than 360(took 360 7 years to hit 70million), and it released 1/1.5 years later(depending on region).

Don't think so. If you want to do failure rates, you have to talk 360 RROD, that had a huge failure rate of 65% early on, and it has improved on that much. 7 years on market and over 50% of its 70 million sales(35Million must be replacements).

MS RROD fix on new consoles remove Red Ring(LOL), now you can't see it RED RING(it just fails instead),and alot.

Are you ****ing kidding me?. Software updates reduced system capabilities, removing features instead of adding them. What they add were some PS Game Saves Cloud Storage, PS Vita link feature and some other crap that very few people really need.

And the new PS3 wasn't so well recieved by customers, because of its lack of BC and other advertised features. Sony is trying to show the PS3 as an amazing piece of stuff (which it was sometime, but not now nor two years ago), but they fail to be a little more humble and realize that they ****ed this up big time.

My EU/UK release 60GB PS3 died about four months ago, from YLOD, its ok if you want to hide from facts regarding the over heating situation of Fat PS3 consoles.

@KillerBug will be able to tell you how bad the over heating is and what causes YLOD.
