The PUP that I used was 192MB or so...
I have the exact same MD5 checksum. The full package contains the PS Home which is around 42MB which brings the total size to around 234MB.

So I am assuming his was a link to just the PUP?

Errm, not sure I am the best person to ask since this is my first PS3. So I went from OFW 2.85 to OFW 3.55 to Kmeaw 3.55 to Ermac 4.30 v1.4 and obviously the ErmaC startup screen is different, speedwise regarding the XMB I noticed not much difference between any of them. Although I think Kmeaw may have been the slowest. ErmaC is not slower than kmeaw IMO.

If there is anything in specific you want me to check, let me know and how to do so and I shall.

Currently testing how to do a backup. haha

I was on Ermac when I first played a game, so cannot say. Sorry :-/
Also quite limited on games at the moment... Been playing Motorstorm Pacific Rift and have not noticed any lag - lag is something which drives me crazy, on my PC I always make sure my FPS are 30 or above. Try aim for the 60FPS obviously

yeah i hate laggy games but some games tend to have fps below 30 like ac3 at some point of the game its not that lagish but when you go into a crowded part of the city it tends to lag but i have seen a little improvement when i upgraded to rogero 1.4 i think it help the fps a little bit dont know about ermac tried the 1.3 kinda bit the same was hoping a little bit of improvement for ermac 1.4 though
