interesting... as far as I can tell you HAVE to go under the settings in the new multiman and set it to install package files as "bubbles" otherwise it will quit to the xmb and you can't install them. Not a big deal, just remember to set that setting.

Can you upgrade from Rogero 4.30 CFW 1.0 to 2.0 or do you have to downgrade back to CFW 3.55?

I can certainly appreciate all the work Rogero has put into his cfw, but Im on E3 4.30 and everything works so I dont really see the need to change right now.

Downgrade I tried being lazy, no luck.

So I've already found kind of a flaw in the installing packages from multiman. If you have an external usb filled with games it apparently wants to sift through the entire contents before listing the installable pkg files (I wasn't waiting for it to scour through 1.5TBs) but when I popped in my flash drive with like 20 pkg files and the ext hdd not hooked up it showed the installable pkgs right away. Hmm, ohh well, should be an easy fix by dean.

I don't see why Rebug's pkg installer wouldn't work if signed for 3.55. But I'm not a dev so all we can do is try.

Honestly I wouldn't worry about it too much. I'm sure Dean could just make it search for pkg files in the root dir only or in a folder name like "packages" and everything would be gravy. In fact, knowing dean he'll probably have a new ver of multiman with that changed up by tonight, dude is like non-stop coding.

Great release @Rogero ! and @deank ! Today I just received back my NAND PS3 from a proper YLOD repair. So I'm currently updating as I write this!

Already installed latest multiMAN v04.12.00 while on Rogero CFW 4.30 (v1.0) (patched), downgraded with the special 4.25-to-3.55 PUP, and I just installed Rogero 3.55 (v3.7).

Finally will now proceed with Rogero CFW 4.30 (v2.0)

Will report back results.

SeeYa!

So after updating to this cfw, installing the newest patch on BO2 and creating a new SEN ID I was able to get onto black ops 2 and then booted about 2mins after being in a game and got the dreaded "server not available" So yea, apparently this is detectable as well if you all were looking for a way to get on black ops 2.
