solder balls

do i need different size solder balls for different ps3 models or are they a one size fits all kind of thing

As far as i know the balls are 0.6mm on the ones i have played with.
Have done all phats and a couple of slims but the newer ones might have smaller balls on the newer chips.
Have also seen / heard people using 0.5 & 0.55 mm size as this can help to stop bridging when re-fitting.
