Hello , Was wondering if someone could help me?

I was on Rogero 4.30 V1.01 , wanted to downgrade to 3.55 then back to the new update 4.30 v2.0.

I followed Rogeros post on how to downgrade and did the first step in downgrading back to 3.55 hybrid that seem to install and work fine.

then did the Rebug QA_Toggle

now comes my problem.
I tried to do the 2nd step in installing "Rogero CEX-3.55 CFW V3.7" but every time i try to install it , it says (something along the lines of) I am already on the highest update and don't need to update)

*I have downloaded the file 3 times just to make sure off Rogeros page
** when i downloaded "Rogero CEX-3.55 CFW V3.7" i renamed it PS3UPDAT.PUP , it copys over ready for installing but then that's where the problem happens (already on the Highest update)

Any idea on how to fix this? , i can still play back ups so i don't know what the problem is :/

I couldnt resist installed perfect after goin down from 4.30 cfw1.03 rogero
just one thing noticed game data pkg dont work just does loop
but noticed multi manager a lot smoother and faster for some reason

My toggle qa gives an error when i try to run it. Its not needed anymore if i allready did it going from 3.55 to 4.30?

try from recovery also did you do the button combo make sure button combo

Had you checked the MD5 of each downloaded files?are they matched with the real one?

* Added new option in "Settings" - "Install Package Files Method"
- User can pick from either "Standard" or "PSN Style (bubble)" modes
- Bubble mode shows installable packages as PSN downloaded content in Game column (or under Rebug's Package Manager/PSN Content)
- To select a package file (*.pkg):
-- Use [* Install Package Files] option in Home column or
-- double click on a pkg file in mmOS/File Manager (when "bubble" method is used the PS3 will reboot)
* Fixed copying of AVCHD/Blu-ray movie backups from Video column


N.B: You must have multiMAN version 04.12.00 installed on the PS3 before updating to CFW4.30 v2.00 or you won't be able to install Package files because 4.30 v2.00 DOES NOT have a "* Install Package Files" XMB entry like the other CFWs.

If you forgot to install latest mM and you are already on Rogero 4.30CFW v2.00 you can still update it by using one of these 2 methods:

1- Download this ZIP file. Put it on a USB stick and double-click/install it from mmOS and then REBOOT your PS3 and install latest mM from the bubble/PSN icon.
PS3~dev_hdd0~vsh~task~00000002.zip (22.80MB)

2- Use any FTP program (if openps3/blackbox is already installed) and transfer the unzipped files to [/dev_hdd0/vsh/task/00000002 folder] then REBOOT your PS3 and install latest mM from the bubble/PSN icon.

I couldn't find the MD5 to it so i just trusted the file from Rogero uploads (Prob a Rookie Error)


Also Found the problem had a Game in the drive whoops my bad

You may then end up waiting forever....

Is it really that much of an issue? You guys all ***** and moan about small silly things which may be a little bit annoying - but at least it still works!!

Would you rather stay on CFW 3.55 or have a decent CFW 4.30?
Imagine if there was no CFW!? Then things would really suck...
