Do you have any HDD lying around?

If you do, try replacing the one in your PS3 for that one, to see if that works.
If it does work, you'll have to format your current HDD from a PC to put it back on the PS3.

I think @playerkp420 nailed it, he will be able to help you best here. (or try @pereb27 's idea first)

It seems (I think) you installed a lower FW than your PS3 began with.

Also I don't think 1.50 FW even HAD recovery mode
