Help downgrade.
I have a ps3 2511th (minimum downgrade 3.56)
I am currently in OFW4.31 and would like to downgrade back to OFW3.56.
I have a e3flasher.
it would be possible

Why would you want to

You may be able to downgrade directly to Rogero 4.21 v2.0. Since the checks have been removed.

I didn't realize that it actually works for anyone who has a min OFW of 3.56 OFW. What is your datecode?

1) use get_applicable_version.pkg to receive lower/upper UDP broadcasts or use fake lowverchk PUP to get it onscreen 2) Datecode 1A/1B : has metldr and fails downgrade to 3.55 with blackscreen and shutdowns in 1-2sec without blinking LEDs/beeps 3) Datecode 1B : has new metldr2 of 63.776 bytes and fails downgrade to 3.55 with blackscreen and shutdowns in 8sec without blinking LEDs/beeps

Not the METLDR2.
My problem is that I'm currently in 4.31OFW, and I can not install the E34.30CFW.
I have a E3FLASHER, if you like me to do a donwgrade 4.30OFW please tell me ..

it can be done but its a real pain to get there.

i think he will be best backing up his ps3's nor to the e3's nor then experiment with the E3's nor ie second switch from the left set at cfw (up) this is the nor on the E3

this way if anything goes wrong then its the E3 that is bricked (recoverable) not his ps3 (also recoverable) but i'd feel better if it was me that it is the E3 not the ps3 that bricks

there is a really complicated work around to get back to 3.56 then onto rogero's cfw. i will have a look for it. i think it was on the main page just days after the first 4.++ cfw came out if you want to look for it yourself

and player is a hell of alot better than me with the E3 so if he says something i have said is wrong than you can be sure i'm wrong

I think you should ask @Rogero . To find out what this means.

2- It does have LV1 Checks Disabled and can be used directly instead of Rogero3.55 v3.7 while downgrading with Hardware Flashers.

And how to accomplish it.

I would think that it means you can downgrade, with a flasher, directly to Rogero 4.21 v2.0. But I don't think you can exit FSM on 4.21.

So I am not sure.
