Ok, I got 4 out of 5 screws out when I was trying to open my PS3 slim motherboaard. But this last screw stripped on me and I can't get it out. Right when I just get my E3 flasher, I can't even install it right away.

Really upset now . Tried rubber band+screw driver trick, tried nose head pliers, tried turning the screw from the bottom. Halppppp!

use a pair of cutting dikes to grip the outside edge. A pain in the a$$ I know, but it usually works

I had the same problem for the PSU cover, which I had to remove to get the PSU out.

I used a screwdriver, flat head and aimed it at the side of the screw and used a wrench to smack the bugger in, ended up making matters worse, used some pliers but it seemed to be stuck to I used pliers and ripped it out after 10 minutes of smashing up most of the outer PSU case and part of the board inside the screw came loose and I was able to do what I needed to do with minimal damage, I'd suggest breaking it.

Just between me and this forum, I'm just a high school senior trying to mod my PS3, my dad's a carpenter, but he'll be my last resort, as I know for sure he'll freak out that I opened my PS3.

Use the last resort, better he freaks out and you get out of this situation instead of making it worse.
I know your hands are probably shaking because you tear open your PS3 and it's the first time (think it's like a girl) but for me better play safe than sorry.

Do at your own risk
Use a drill bit thats the same size as the threads and drill the head of the screw. You dont have to drill very deep and the head of the screw will pop off.
Remove board and then you should have whats left of the screw there and you can grab a hold of it with pliers

dikes work over pliers as they bite into the screw, where pliers (regular or needle nose) slips around the screw.
don't think i would use power tools, but if you are going/thinking about that route you could cut a line in the center with a dremel tool then back it out with a regular screwdriver. I still recommend the cutting dikes.

After you drill the head of the screw off and remove board there will only be threads.
With a 1/8 to 1/4 inch of threads sticking out you can use pliers, visegrips channel locks, dikes, or needlenose.

Your dad is a carpenter, he will be able to either do it for you or may even have a bit that does it.
@jr3277 I was recommending the dikes with no drilling.
Also once the screw is backed out enough you can then change tools and use vice grips instead of backing it out entirely with the dikes
