I wouldn't be surprised. We HAVE been threatened. That would only have been two calls now because we've only got it working twice. Over the last 10 days. I know people who have called them daily just due to the servers. People do stuff like that all the time.

But you know whats weird? Why is treyarch banning us and sony isn't. If it was that simple to detect an CFW why wouldnt sony ban us all from PSN when we connect in the first place...

As far as I'm concerned they can stuff their bloody game, I'm getting Black Ops 1 with all the DLC now, I much prefered that too if I'm being totally honest.

Maybe sony still make money from purchased games etc from people on cfw..

maybe console sales shot up when the news hit about the latest keys getting out.

I honestly dont know, I do know they can detect it if they want to, they have chosen not to console ban everyone for some reason, up until now that is.

Sony havent even banned my PSN, yet treyarch did instantly...

Like Ive said before, it wont be long now, all games will be the same, no online play...

Or at least online pass required.

On a positive note, Im pretty noob at COD games these days, but Im at level 33 now, really enjoying the game (most of the time), I just need to decide what to do when I prestige, I dont fully understand it, never got that far on a COD game before, always got bored by then as it took me so long lmao.

Or is all CFW (any version) unable to connect to the servers?

I am on 3.55Kmeaw with 103Patch and getting Server Unavailable Error.
Today was the first day I tried this game and didnt know if I need to do something else
to get this game to play online?

It wont work whilst on CFW for any amount of time worth playing.

Some are able to get on and off by creating new PSN accounts, of course, you'll hve to level up every time doing that.

Buy a second ps3, they are so bloody cheap these days, use that one for online, thats the best advice anyone can give I'm pretty sure.

allows you to play Lan mode, so almost as good as multiplayer, just against everyone els eon CFW

I imagine a title like this, you'll always find people to play!

potentially, you can get banned from PSN having your CFW connected to the internet full stop.

Its simply the risk you take.

It's very rare, up until now to get full PSN banned, but that doesnt mean it wont start happening.
