Curious as to if you can get GT5 to load at all. It will load to the GT loading screen for me and just sits there. It makes it past the "loading data", "saving" and the option to sign in to PSN. After that is the "GT" loading screen. that's where i am stuck.

GT5 never had any problems and didn't require any special options.

So that is why Rogero, to keep the CFW minimal and free of problems, removed it.

PS3 Scene / Devs are not slaves, I'm tired of people like you that doesn't seem to have any gratitude.

Where do you see exactly that I am being ungrateful? All What I said is
rebooting the PS3 every time I install a package was pain in the ass,
especially when I have to resign all my PSN games while *hoping* they will
work.. I literally had to reboot my PS3 70 times, that is horrible in all aspects.
Powering on/off the external/internal HDDs takes away from their life span,
also it is bad for the PS3 itself, thank god I am using my slim ps3, if I used
my phat ps3 for this and I got YLOD because of this, I will be pissed. Let
alone it is very time consuming.

I didn't say I don't like multiman or Rogero's CFW, but you apparently didn't
SEARCH for the reason why he took that feature away, which is it is causing
a problem for sorting the homebrew/games under Games category, and
to match OFW's XMB just to proof that he used the 4.30 OFW as a base
for the new version. Weighing the pros and cons, I prefer if he kept it..

Sure there is lots of bad things coming with this new CFW, like some games
not working like they used to be, even after resigning with the new keys,
but I never said anything or showed that I am ungrateful.

You sir/ma'am or whatever are oblivious to the fact that everybody has the
right to criticize anything (including other users and me), let it be constructive
or destructive criticism, but as long as you or anyone else
keep it civilized, for you to say I am sick of *people like you* which I don't
give a damn about what you think or believe of others, I consider this as
an insult not a criticism.

Anyways, this discussion is moot. And I wont bother myself discussing this
any further.

See Ya!

An altercation in a new multiMAN release thread. That's different but not surprising.

The new install pkg option works great on Rebug 355.2 i did not try it on 4xx yet but i see no issues with it for me & the Demo/PSN style "Bubble" shows up in Manage PSN content in Rebug package manager .. I like this XMB app i was thinking bout a XMB Install package HomeBrew the same day & what do you know Deank released same day

The Install package app and the new MM work great. Good job!

I'm just wondering, can't someone (ie Deank) 'reproduce' the way game updates are installed? Instead of using the psn-bubble style installation.

I'm no dev whatsoever, but a ps3 clearly has the ability to download and install game updates ( = pkg's ). Can't this system be reproduced by giving the ps3 the command to install a pkg from a usb location, instead of the download location?

I had never had a problem with GT5 until the new multiman, or possibly rogero's v2 firmware, for some reason. And I've had it installed since 3.55.

Anyway, how i got it working again was i had to rip the game onto the internal HDD, copy it back onto the external usb HDD via multiman. multiman did the splitting of files once again, asked if i wanted to load the "cached" portion of the game to internal HDD, clicked yes, multiman joined the files. I deleted it from the internal and selected not to unistall the "cached" portion. it now shows up as split in multiman. I did not check anything in game settings. Launch via game disc on xmb, updated, unicorns.
