Sony isn't failing just because of the PS3, they're a huge conglomerate... I'm sure there's plenty of complicated reasons for their downfall and I won't bother trying to examine all of them.

As far as gaming's concerned though they completely ****ed up with the Vita on so many levels. It's like they're not even aware that people have iphones now or that no kid's parents are going to buy them a $300 handheld. It took Nintendo a year to figure that out with the 3DS, Sony should've learned from their mistake.

Sony is a pile of junk? really? I haven't heard of this fitch rating thingy till now and all of a sudden they come up saying Sony is junk. I hate Sony's crappy rules over jailbreaking and hacking the PS3 and stuff but yet, I love my PS3, I loved my PS2, PS1... Even my LCD is a Sony product and I think it's great. Not really similar to any kind of junk. The problem is everybody thinks they know what's good and what's not good better than anyone else so they think everyone should hear their opinion and accept it immediately. :facepalm:

They aren't saying that Sony's products are junk, they are saying financially they are junk and regarding Fitch, when they lower your credit rating to junk, you are in trouble.

Sony is failing because their products are overpriced compared to the competition and the quality isnt any better...look at LG and Samsung, they know how to make quality for low prices..thats why they run the tv market.
