Please take in consideration banning people that meet the following criteria:

- User ask a question, when it has been answered at least "X" number of times, and its clearly available on the forums.

- User acts without gratitude to other users / members / group / ps3hax , and demand "X" service like if this was a "business" and they paid "X" person to work for them.

- User becomes a troll, and start writing non-related content in threads to purposely create a mess around.

I believe if these 3 and probably more little things are considered, the site will be a lot nicer to read.

I don't have anything against the noobs, we all been noobs at something at some point, the problem is when noobs don't know the history of the scene, and don't show respect to those people who deserve it, and they come here to PS3HAX like if it was theirs and start messing things up for veteran / regular members.

I hope @GregoryRasputin / @hellsing9 / @Pirate can do something about these situations happening lately.

Thanks so much in advance, if I remember another recommendation I will add it later here as well.

SeeYa!
Yes I agree on most but some people who have a strong opinion doesn't make them a troll as most would put it

And some questions are answered in threads in relating to the questions or what would appear to common knowlage to lots may be hard to find / understand for others a little help for noobs I don't mind even if it's been answered

Asking questions like

I am on 4.31 with phat ps3 can I downgrade
In ultimate foolproof downgrade tutorial does beg for a infraction / temp ban but others are just trying to pick a foreign language up

And there is also PM and IRC to ask questions.

But if I ask a question I rather have no one answering at all as getting answers like "read the forum" etc. If people don't want to answer me serious than just don't. Never asked a lot of questions though, I know how to read and use a forum. I'm also more a helping dude as an asking dude

Problem is also if someone posts the "read the forum" etc. comment it is more difficult to give a serious answer after that comment.

And if everybody answers 2 or 3 n00b posts a day most n00b posts get answered. So sometimes I answer a n00b post and sometimes I think "now it is up to someone else, I have done enough today on this matter"
I have done my bit today now

Love it this is correct and I feel the same

We can't see users IP and even if we can see it, the user can be behind some proxy/thor/VPN.

I repeat:

1) Moderators
2) S-mods
3) VIP's

Can't see users IP.
Only admin = Pirate.

i can tell you as a user my self in such situation of having to ask for somthing thats put out there often, last thing i want is to have some snobby person tell me to go search, ive been on countless forums searching to no avail, or searching and not finding what i am specifically looking for,

so being on a number of forums, where i ask for something ,and somebody rudely says go search, or they start to be a condescending *******.... is not needed, i say why put that effort into that when you could of told me what to search for, or give me my answer.... its rude,

i like to go to a forum, and somebody just tells me what i ask for, i do that too, if i know something somebody wants to know i share it, THATS WHAT A FORUM IS FOR,

that being said..... if everything somebody or anybody can ask is already said in a forum WHY NOT LOCK THE WHOLE FORUM and make it so no others can post? theres no need, just lock the forum and archive it then, but people come here, come to other sites To HELP OTHERS and ask for help

Rude answers is when the OP (creator of the thread) asks with not even do a proper introduction or being polite.
If the OP is being rude asking for help and using CAPS all over the place he will get the worse response from anyone.

For example today, one specific user registered this month.
Just made 3 simple questions all in CAPS, funny tough he don't even enumerate each problem he just posted 3 questions not even using proper grammar and abusing from *PLZ* instead of say *Please*.

I remember when i started here or any board this:

1) Be polite. (even if it's internetz)
2) Be specific.
3) Respect and thanks if anybody reads my thread asking for help and answers me.

Is so simple...so simple and always gave me good results.
Because im not ASKING on some imperative way a response, im asking for help with respect even if nobody replys fast enough, they no need to, they are not my slaves.
That way i learn from others instead of demanding things on a bad manner and not being polite towards others.

RESPECT is the key to everything.
Another thing that gets on my nerves when some random new user creates a thread asking for something someone clarify his/her doubt and he did not reply on the same day instead he logs in two day later and asks again the same question most of the times creating another thread.

We are not here to educate fools or hit and run users.
Yes, i can deal with new users that have enough patience to keep some good feedback to try to help him.
But with someone who don't give a **** and wants everything HERE AND NOW...well. **** him.

So the analogy here is as follows...

"Since the Internet is full of crap, do I have to let the crap get in the sites I administer?"

Tolerance and the ability to ignore kids asking for already answered/stupid questions works better than trying to change the people´s behavior via punishment, IMO.

Is it really so hard to believe that websites, yes even hax, partly rely on noobs annoying people?

When it comes to hits...drama is key.

If you don't like noobs or annoying people then ignore them. It works wonders
