Release of PS Vita was very bad choice since Vita is Expensive.

People want to play Mario in their hand and some "simplistic" games NOT UNCHARTED!!!
such games require more dedication unlike arcade like games.

That's why Vita failed. And vita fail is reason why SONY got Junk mark.

For all the people who are reading this thread even to the poster. Djeezus I would expect you learn to watch the news world wide. There has been an embargo disputing some islands between japan and china..... It has nothing to do with the 1% hacking scene which sony-they are entitled to protect their product(s).

well sony is currently my least favourite company with the of loss consumer trust and expectations from psp,ps1\2,laptops,cd/tape/mini disc players sony Ericsson Symbian range and x1 phones, crt tv.

they had to ruin it by killing the expectations of the ps3 and vita , their first lineup of android phones wasnt good either with dropped updates less ram and now they trying to lock the bootloader to keep users on their customized user interface. not sure about their tablets but the play station range on android was poor,xperia play was good but lacking in power.

the current model of tvs are Great but there is a problem, the sony emblem has a white light so when you have it on sonys name has to glow under it, i havent seen any tv company thats does this, duct tape required,

people dont want sony to fail but clearly planning and management is their fault.marketing is still good.

So retarded as their security... Ok, I know they did hash the paswords, so it wasn't stored in plaintext atleast. But really... IIRC they was hacked through the use of SQL injection? Thats a ****ing joke too.

Hello, I know that piracy in fact helps spreading and advertising music etc, however, if you haven't noticed yet, almost all video games are online games, companies don't want to invest in single player mode, which doesn't bring much profit, also, statistics don't show whether these games are online or single player games!, pirates in fact buy the one that have online features, but why would they buy single player games if they already beat it or own it ?!

When I bought my ps3 in 2007, I found lot and lot of homebrew otherOs apps on the internet and they were too damn good, however, otherOs was made specifically to run Linus Os, which is slow, lagy and the rest is for you to mention, they removed it when they thought it could lead to a security break. In addition, that was a stupid move, but it could be for other things. Moreover, as far as I know, even xbox's network "Live" was hacked, so almost, no company is safe from hacking, the sad part, sony didn't invest much in securing servers....

I still think that sony products are still better than its competitors, for example,
my brother bought a Hp laptop with an amd cpu / ait gpu ( back then) and it lasted a year only, he then bought a sony laptop, which is in fact more expensive than others, and still happy with it. Also, I bought my ps3 in 2007, and I had to replace the thermal paste 3 days ago, thats the only maintenance I had to do for it!, sony makes design flaws and also marketing flaws, but stills they offer good products. I know that you disagree, but compare their products to other companies and you will appreciate sony products a bit more.

i dont disagree at all.

in fact i have said on many occasions that i think their products are awesome but the way they do business and treat customers fail.

i was mainly talking in regards to their console division as their service is severly lacking compared to live, their features are rubbish and their motion control is lacking compared to the other big 2. as long as they live in microsofts shadow, their console sales will suffer if they do not change their ways.

Lets be honest sony is a great company :D there products are great BUT there marketing killed them and bullying the 1% cfw users I mean hardly no one I know uses cfw. if sony goes it will be awful for the gaming market. I mean microsoft knew the xbox360 drive was hacked with LT+ but they did not go after c4eva did they they also knew about the RGH but silently patched in a update as they know if the console is hacked more people will buy it like ps2 sold so well also one of the most pirated consoles. They also release to many phones in a year xperia S,T,P I mean companies like samsung just release one massive mobile (samsung galaxy s3) and they ditched xperia play which they never should have they should,v made xperia play 2 put good specs and put the price round about £250. the ps vita is a great console but too expensive they got to obsessive over piracy they made there memory cards too expensive doesn't work especially in this crisis in the UK any way and not many people who want to use emulators on the system are going to buy it as its not hacked not to mention the quality of games out there and black ops on vita sucked. They need to pull there act up together as if they die we lose out there will only be nintendo and micro$oft and nintendo have more kiddy games and Microsoft just has the boring FPS such as cod no innovation. Please sony dont go

PSN is free, and as for demos, they are almost identical, in the end, you are going to play online matches, and it doesn't make a difference whether its psn or live, but you have to pay if you own an xbox ( like what i do ) however, live got nice indie and arcade game that's the only superior comparison point in live; my opinion of course.

Sadly, they treat their customers as ****, and I dont know why this had happened to lot of companies recently.
