I'd recommend replacing the codes for Aliens Vs Predator with the ones I have in the 2nd or 3rd post on the CMP forums since I changed a few to toggle with buttons and tested them all and they all work fine. I'm done with that game and moving onto another.

Hi, the DB has the US version of Rune Factory Oceans/Tides of Destiny (BLUS30759), I'm wondering if I can use the same codes for the EU version (BLES01550) or do the codes need to be converted first?

I sure wish they could get cheats for 'I am Alive'
I requested them, but still nothing.

I never followed the the procedure much for PS3, like I did with PS2
So don't really understand why some games seem easy to make cheats, while others don't

It is because different game developers employs different kind of encryption and security. Also with each firmware version, the keys become different. Hence, it takes time.

To further widen your cheat list, I suggest you also get Game Genie for PS3.

vosmans COD BO2 cheat is an eboot. I got it from the mirror site. I havent tested it fully.

The keys are out, those aren't a problem. They use encryption to encrypt files. Users at the CMP forums do EBOOT modding, and that only requires the firmware keys. Encryption is not a problem for that, and CodeUnique modifies the eboot too. It's a matter of having the game and time to mess around with it, encryption isn't a hindrance.

The only people having trouble with encryption are people messing with any other file in the USRDIR directory that isn't an elf file. For example, people can make lots of mods for CoD World At War & Black Ops 1 by modifying "fastfiles". Games that use the Unreal 3 engine usually have a file called "COALESCED.BIN" or whatever file that has encryption, and most games can just use the Gears Of War 2 editor even if they are PS3 games. For those, the game developers put their own encryption on the files, that encryption is programmed within the EBOOT.BIN, and CodeUnique does not in any way use them.
