i am on ofw 4.31 but still cant play black ops 2 online , battlefield 3 works fine any ideas ?

all i can say, is that sony wont start banning people if they get around the ban, or well by that i mean banning OFWs, if they do thatll cause a lawsuit on their ass, there for i'd almost see them not doing anything, or doing some investigation,


to me, the whole getting around the ban is meh, and it owuld probably put sony in a bad spot, the bad spot being, damned if they DO ban, damned if they dont, because yeah they could be bannign people on ofw, which i would think = big lawsuit lol

From the very beginning Sony has blocked us that are on CFW at every chance. I doubt they have suddenly changed. If anything they are still trying to figure out a method to combat us.

Start a new account on your OFW console... or use an account that wasnt flagged due to playing online via CFW. The account/accounts you are trying to use are banned

Sony won't lose in a lawsuit because you aren't paying to be on PSN. All they have to say is that they're letting you on PSN is just a kind gesture for your buying a PS3/Vita. Now if you have Playstation Plus, that would be a different story.

In court, PSN is a private network, so they can allow and ban whoever they want with no reason. It's in their ToS.

Also, if Sony wants, they can just blacklist/whitelist PSN if they want. If your PS3 is connected to the Internet and you don't even connect to PSN, they can ban your system without having to ban your system mac address or account. They can ban whatever PS3 contains the banned Cell or Syscon. For example, if they banned my syscon, and I found a way to swap my syscon with yours and the system booted up fine, your PS3 would be banned while I'm able to get on PSN.

When the first PS3 Jailbreak happened, people were warning each other of possible PSN bans and then the methods for stealth mode came out. Sony warned us too, but did something happen? Nope.

Last I read, can't disclose where, Sony know there's about 5-7 thousand PS3s with CFW. Comparing that to the 70+ million PS3s sold, that's no enough for them care for a massive ban wave. Sony, themselves, don't care about cfw. It's the publishers and game devs that's badgering them to do it.
