Hi guys, I keep seeing people in GTA IV with these cool a** mods... Some of the people will spawn me dinosaurs and stuff, I have a friend right now on my friends list who has these terrific mods. These mods include a lot of things... Ever since I was younger I always dreamed of modding GTA SA on PS2 and never accomplished that, but I did with a computer. This is my next big project! Modding GTA IV Online before GTA IV comes out. Everyone says (On Youtube) that these mods work on 1.06 but when I ask around, no one says anything about a 3.55 CFW or Jailbreak, my friend said she just bought it. I wish it really were that simple lol... I am on System Version Update 4.25 and on 1.06 Version for GTA IV. Even tho every time I join a game, there's someone there to do mods and stuff and gimme cars and ****, I still want to do it myself, have all the power in the palm of my hands! So I just want a extreme full thorough tutorial, with downloads to straight up stuff and no survey crap... One with links to right thing needed, a tut with good English. I cannot find this anywhere, not youtube, not google, not yahoo... Nowhere... Someone please help me with this? I haven't a clue where to start... Do I HAVE to have a 3.55 CFW to do these mods online? Because I saw some guy on 4.11 doing the mods online... I don't wanna be the one stuck with a boring constantly watched ps3... I wanna be free with no limits ot boundaries on the virtual world of ANY game. (Preferably GTA IV) Anyways... That's it, thanks guys!

Only CFW machine can do mods on games, only CFW users can be banned for using mods in online gaming.

Data transfer your installed gta game data ofw to your cfw.
Replace files data transfer back.

OFW PS3s can mod any online game if they do the data transfer method (CFW to OFW).

Who said I WASN'T on cfw??? I swear most the blogers on these post are 12 yr old kids. There's an over flow of mods in gta 4 psn.. and no 1, is getting banned. And prob never will be, because they aren't being reported. Psn knows when u're using a modded counsil, every time u log in. Weither u mod or not. So, being banned dosen't scare me. There's ways around that too, IF U'RE SMART. Smh... Presonaly, I think, psn is focusing on players who use mods, that draw too much attn. Like: god mode, free psn $$, large mb aplications, ect. It's not rocket scince. Don't draw attention, and u have a smaller chanse of getting banned. Look @ the "ban-waggon" most of the ban reports, are comming from players from Cod. Not gta 4.

of course you need CFW to replace the modded update.img file.
But then it can be data transferred to OFW

So all you need is CFW (or somone with CFW)
