flashcart possible? - PS3Hax Network

since the psvita uses a propitiatory memory card for games, i was wondering if it were possible for some china company to reverse engineer them, add a micro sd card slot and make a flash cartridge? as for now there really isnt any A+++ psvita titles and i really dont want to see it get hacked for piracy early on in its lifespan but i would rather see a flashcart than using the expensive as hell psv memory cards for storing "backups".

The PSV memory card probably will be a problem if someone is planning to release some flashcart, also keep the flashcart (If something can be done) updated.

this will be a noob question but what is the term used for the larger memory card that store bought games are held on? to avoid confusion from being mislabeled as the tiny memorycard used for save data and media

@SniperSnake Storage is PS Vita memory card. It's the only one, you don't have any other way to storage anything. (4/8/16/32gb) That's the main reason they made a special SD kinda Card to avoid piracy.
While the PS Vita Game card holds 5–10% is reserved for patches, saves. So when you buy some game *technically* the game card is not full, it holds some *free* space to avoid fill memory space so fast.
Or experience too much lag or some weird problem with the console.

That's why i don't see the cartridge idea happening.

So to make it easier and avoid confusions:

PS Vita GAME CARD: Games also some free space for storage but for the game only.
PS Vita MEMORY CARD: Storage.

the ds was last get. even the 3ds cannot use flashcarts for 3ds mode but it still works for nds mode.

new gen hardware = new security

Im the only one who voted NO i don't want to see a flashcart on PS vita.
I don't like to lie...

Homebrew = No problemo.
Piracy = No problemo.

Flashcart = Yes problemo.
