don't know from which country you are from, but maybe it's easier to find a local service that will do the downgrade.

i know there are here members from the uk and us that also have a downgrade service.

Yes, you have to open up your PS3 and install the flasher.





Bare in mind, this is not child play.
You have to follow the guide, check everything. It takes times is NOT something that you plug and play.

And if you don't know what you are doing, you can brick your PS3.
