Has anyone used a Progskeet 1.2 to downgrade a NOR or NAND PS3 yet? I can't get mine to write back to a NOR no matter what I try.

Please, read the thread "Dont Buy Progskeet 1.2" there are manye other people having troble with progskeet 1.2 and there is no way to make it work.

Guys , try unticking "deferential flash" .. And see what happenes ..
I got like 40% verified when writing .. But I don't feel that it actually wrote ..
You try and tell . Just untick it and bring good news ..

Have you guys went to their support site and talked with them? I just ordered one to downgrade a NAND PS3 hopefully it's not going to be a problem.

Did you try to dump it again? When you untick "Differential flash" it will delete the complete nor. So you could just do another dump and check it with HxD. When it differs from just 00s then there was probably really written something to the nor. In the other case your nor should be completely empty now.

Support?!...LOL. They don't care about their customers as long as they keep buying that 1.2 sh*t. Just bought a Teensy++ and will give it a try. Should be the cheapest solution if you were dumb enough to buy PS 1.2. Will report back if this worked out for me

From what I am reading it's only people with Nor PS3's having this problem correct? For Nor PS3's I will just use an E3 Flasher and *Hopefully* for Nand PS3's the PS1.2 will work.

AFAIK it won't write to NANDs either.

Or are we all just waiting for a new bitstream to be released that will enable this most basic functionality! It's like buying a car without an engine ffs!
