Not sure if i can help because the only experience i have is when i did mine.. i had to take mine apart a couple dozen times...

i would make sure the ribbon couple is in right, if it is upside down might screw it up

i definetly advise just taking the E3 flasher out and seeing if that will solve it, then you know for sure if it is the flasher or not

if the flasher is installed upside down, it will cause it to not start, all mother boards are different so it is definetly worth a shot of checking it

when taking it apart you don't need to keep taking the screws in and out, when i did mine, i had it half way in the case and it worked just fine :P

I have the DYN-001 with the spansion nor.

What was the correct orientation when clipping on it? I heard the little circle is on the nor chip has to be on top left with the ribbon clip going straight down from there.
I found out earlier today I installed the clip the wrong way, and I annoyed as crap, because most videos only showed the NOR chip parrallel to the hard drive slot...

But now I have it the right way, along with the problem that my PS3 won't turn on anymore =/, with and without the e3 flasher on.
