Why sell it? Keep it for homebrew and get a legit ps3 for online.

Oh and unlike MS they ban both account and console...and not just console. So if you're on your main account and you get banned...say goodbye to all those plats.

Think I got a system ban. Using 4.30 Rogero. Did not play BO2 early however it is on my HD. The kids played Sonic racing online once or twice and I played MW3. Creating a new account does not work. I never really wanted Online except for roster updates to Madden games. Guess I will have to wait for a program to change ID and MAC address.

Hey just thought i would give some info out so people can identify if they have been banned from PSN ;p

Well firstly ive been banned and i can confirm your mac address has **** all to do with the ban or your ip.... so dont go blabbing on about changeing your mac and get unbanned etc.

they ban your CONSOLE ID only and usually ban your account as well... and you usually get an email ;p.

Error Codes
Banned Account = 8002A231
Banned Console = 8002A227

If you try to change your CONSOLE ID to a random id using psidpatched then you will end up with Error 8002A224 ;p

- banned or not banned
- if banned, what game caused ur ban?
- what fw?
- legit copy or not?
- if banned, what error code?

my example.
- not banned
- 4.30 rogero 1.04
- played gt5 legit copy no problem, tried tekken tag 2 duplex = got dlcs

not trying to be bossy here, just want clear responses from people here, so we can understand better.

to see the error code go into network connection test and when it tests psn it will say failed and at the bottom of the screen it will show the error code :D, it also shows the error code when u first turn on your ps3 (must have auto-signin to psn on)
