hi so i want to buy a ps3
whitch versions of ps3 can i buy to safely downgrade and jailbreake?
whitch versions are less affected by ylod rsod and that sort of things?
is the 4004c good? what frameware it has?

NO.

Also it comes with 4.10 OFW. You need a PS3 that can be downgraded to 3.55 in order to jailbreak.

1000 series fats = jailbreakable
2000 series slims = jailbreakable
2500 series slims = 50/50 jailbreakable (depending on the manufacture datecode)
3000 series slims = NOT jailbreakable
4000 series ultra slims = NOT jailbreakable

As for YLOD issues, it depends on how new the machine is (if you buy it second hand), how long its been used for, if its been reballed/reflowed.

TBH slims <2500 seem to be the way to go.

Yes new = better chance of not getting YLOD/RLOD, however the newer the machine the less chance of jailbreaking it.

Best thing would be to find old unopened stock of 2000 slims, that havent been updated.
