well I don`t really know where to start

Im on Kmeaw 3.55

so, firstly is to go to recovery menu then [Restore PS3 System] to make it OFW 3.55

then secondly, Im not sure what to do so, where do i put the Ermac 4.30 1.4 .PUP of [192 MB] ? root of my USB?


then thirdly I go back to recovery menu? and System update is that right ?

1 weird question : will this somehow screw my game save data`s? Im assuming not but just making sure

You need to have qa flagging on.

Click on Tutorials at the top, then click on PS3 Jailbreak and CFW Tutorials. Then click on @itskamel well set out tutorial, and follow it step by step.

you need to be in OFW 3.55 or CFW 3.55 ?

is this for any 4.30 CFW rebug or Ermac etc.

Not sure why you would goto ErmaC v1.4 when Rogero 4.30 v2.0 is out?

Anyways how I got to Ermac v1.4 was:

Upgrade to Kmeaw 3.55, QA toggle and make sure it worked, boot into recovery and upgrade to Ermac v1.4 - that simple.


Also yes, the PUP must be on the root of your flashdrive which needs to be FAT32.
Also it will not destroy your saved games or any backups you currently have on your PS3 etc. You may need to have your eboot fixes resigned in order for it to work under 4.30 if they were patched to work on 3.55


If you want to know, I downgraded using Rogero's downgrade guide and then upgraded to Rogero CFW 4.30 v2.0 - it worked fine

about the eboots do you mean put the original eboots back to its place

i used .pkg 3.55 fix for the games and did not change there eboots
anyway I`ll just check

I'm pretty sure that's not right, the UPDAT.PUP needs to be at x:\PS3\UPDATE\ or the ps3 won't be able to find it.

You need to have originals. I'm not sure about the .pkg you used but Im sure it would've just made new eboot's for you and kept the originals. Check the file structure of the games.

The PUP needs to be in the following location:

x:\PS3\UPDATE\
