hi guys, i'm about downgrade my ps3 chehl03, mobo ver001.
i am using progskeet v1.2.
my problem is solder point between the progskeet and the ps3 mobo, help please.

I have one question. I have had some real problems with the e3 clip and the error 10001100. And want to know if it's possible to use the linker i got with the e3 flasher instead(to solder)? Or do i still need to use the clip to be able to do a downgrade.(without esata station)

im buying a ps3 80gb fat that doesent read disks with the intention of using it as my system for jailbreak. my question is do i need the system to read disks? im assuming that i wont ....as ill only be layin g games deownloaded on that system...

well today i revived my Prankster AVR eclips3 programed dongle hare:

and i was messing about with it with the EclipseUpdater_v1_5/Manager

and i wiped it clean

i found a you-tube TUT: PS3 Downgrading E3 Flasher EcliPS3 USB Flash files - Part 3 - YouTube

and followed it.

so i erased it.
then reprogrammed it with Eclipse Downgrader 1.1

so did i fix it? (I'm still waiting 4 my E3 Kit to arrive so no way to test it)

and what is the 1.5 Eclipse Firmware update?

and the other options like PsGroove, ect

i found a manual on the up-grader and it say to install the 1.5 upgrade and use that with downgrade processes with PS3.

i would highly recommend you use the e3 linker as it a more secure connection + permanent. I'm receiving my kit tomorrow and the wires in like a week.

as e3 linker need soldering i would advise to practice 1st as i have. - if Ur going to use it. E3 Clip is a peace of ****. - if ur still going to use the clip be sure to solder the Tristate point as a back up in case you brick. (you will be able to recover 4rom brick if u have a back up of the stock flash. (instead if pulling it apart again just to solder that point)

I also recommend the Linker,
it needs soldering and you will not hassle with clip at all.
I ONLY DO THE FLASHER WITH LINKER
