kmeaw 3.55 installed on external harddrive, set to bd mirror as stated. Started w multiman and screen came up saying ps3 firmware needs to be updated to play this game press x to continue or 0 to escape. I did not want to update - should I?

sorry for bumping this, but i just dont like this "Working" title..
did anyone actually get it to work on kmeaw 3.55 external or internal? i'd love to hear.. i've been trying to search for a solution but no where to be found, also no updates from anyone.. |

Would you like a copy ? http://www.4shared.com/zip/x6xr4hnr/...gEbootPat.html Inside the downloaded folder you will find 2 pkg files, these are for the kmeaw 3.55 99.99 firmware version spoofer, install both these pkg's first, now highlight the enable spoofer icon an press ''X'' the ps3 will turn off and on, once its back on you'll be spoofing 99.99 cfw. Now go to multi-man an enter the file browser and bring up LBP karting in one window and my fix folder in the other, now just do the usall and change the e-boot and param.sfo, Also in this folder is the trophy info NWPR, you'll need to replace the one in the game with mine. Now that you've done all this double tap ''X'' on the games icon and go back to the main multi-man screen and check the External an BD mirror icons, now press the start button. You should now be on the XMB, Highlight the disc icon and press ''X'' and Select at the same time, and there you have it a working copy on 3.55 kmeaw. Also the 99.99 version spoofer you've installed, you can use it with any new game thats over 4.xx as long as theres a fix out for the game your trying to play,its come in well handy for me........ For those who were having problems with this game (3.55 firmware/stuck at installing screen) I found the solution.The DUPLEX eboot patch only works on the BCES (EUR) version of the game.It installs and loads fine.When applying this patch to the BCUS (US) version of the game I was forever stuck at the installing screen.Tested and confirmed working on 3.55 Rebug.
