Hello modsters! I have a ? That isn't quite clear in my mind. I'm following the noob tut and have read beginning to end a couple times but before I attempt I am looking at the skus comparing to mine. My slim ps3 is CECH-2501A 160gb. I just bought it used with OFW 3.65. Here I found 4 possible matches! http://ps3devwiki.com/index.php?title=SKU_Models#2 which is not good unless it doesn't matter what the ps3 FW shipped with. 2 of the 4 are in question as the FW @ the release date are 3.56 and 3.61. If by chance I had one of these 2 models WILL THE HARDWARE DOWNGRADE PROCESS ALLOW THESE 2 MODELS TO DOWNGRADE BELOW THERE SHIPPING FW? 3.55? The other 2 models shipped with 3.40 so if it was one of those I know it will downgrade to 3.55. So will the hardware downgrade work if the shipped FW is higher than the target FW 3.55? Thank you all for the help and sorry for the over explanation. I just want to make sure!
