I agree with you on the fat ps3's especially the earlier ones, but when we're talking about a slim model it's a bit different, you can grab a 250gb or even an 120gb slim off amazon for about $300+shipping Brand New.

I don't think anyone would ever pay over 300 for a ps3 that may or may not ylod anytime soon. On ebay someone is selling their 60gb with a new 160gb drive for 300...that's stupid, the ps2 compatibility shouldn't even factor considering all the other negatives.

There's many people that sell fat PS3 / Slim that are on 3.56+ OFW on eBay / Craiglist, which can be downgraded easily... that's why the price is still cheap. $400+ for a simple & used CFW console is just plain ridiculous and overpriced. @ZOMBIEKILLAH you can buy a CFW slim ps3 from Mushymods.com at a reasonable price (£159+) but don't expect a fast delivery (mine took 2.5 weeks)

I seen that site before does UK PS3 have same power as US ? i never looked in to that, or is it just a change of power cable.? I was thinking about this & passed one up & did not bother to check cause i have 4 already so it was not a big deal to wait . I seen £149.99 do they only sell EU/UK ? I did not see US currency ..Unless i missed it but i would buy from there i can wait weeks it is no big deal. As long as i know they are not a scam lol.

What would my PS3 be worth, I know nothing of the worth. It's got a be worth more than what I paid for it. I bought a PS3 160GB Black Ops bundle in the summer of 2011, it had ofw 3.50 installed. I rarely use it. The only time I put a disc in it is to install the disc to usb hdd. I still have the box for it and everything that was in the box.

I'd be interested if you were selling between £125-135 seeing as its only on OFW (and i may be the only offer on the table lol) ; so around $210 ish. Also depends if you would be willing to ship to the UK.

To everyone else, how much something is "worth", is in the eye of the beholder. You may think something is only worth $20, but to someone who really wants the thing and wants a good, reliable version, it could be worth $100. A ps3 of the shelf costs $299 + tax, and nowadays almost certainly can't even be downgraded. If you found a used one, chances are it has been upgraded and would cost to either have it downgraded, or cost to buy a flasher to downgrade yourself. With that said, it is safe to say that a person will have at least $200-$300 in a good exploitable slim console. Then after you factor in shipping, PayPal fees, and even a minute profit, you would have to sell that for $250-$400 to even make it worth your time. Like me, I have $370 in my console, it was only used for 20-30 hours, so it like new. It is on 3.55. If I sell it for $350 + shipping, you might say that is high. Well, I am actually in the hole $20 off the bat, then there are 3% PayPal fees, and shipping material. So like I said, it's all in how much you want the thing and what condition it is in. If you would pay $150-$250 for a fat model, why wouldnt you pay another $100 for the slim? Rant off

I would say it should be worth at least what you paid for it, depending on condition. I mean, some cheapos may not think so, but they can't get a new one of the shelf too easily anymore, so their only option is to buy from someone who has one and is selling it. Then they have a choice, buy a fat that any or may not last, and most often has had many years of use out of it already, or a newer slim which is more reliable ( figuratively speaking) , and hasn't had anywhere near as much wear and tear on it because it is obviously a newer console. People these days want something for nothing or really really cheap. I say, go for a number you would be happy with, and if you don't sell it, you still have what you paid for. My 2 cents

I didn't think I posted my slim on here, but maybe I did. I know I posted a few fats on here. If you pm me, we could work something out. I get slims when I can, but they are getting harder and harder. Most people want like $180-$280 for their used slims that can be downgraded, in my area. Then I have to downgrade them, list them, ship them, fees....etc. so there doesn't really leave any room for profit whatsoever. To be honest, I am kinda over the whole buying and fixing and selling of ps3s. I only buy now of they are brand new, or a damn good deal. The slim I have that has been downgraded is basically brand new, but I understand you wanting one that has never even seen a disc or been touched. Pm me and we will talk. That way I don't have to keep high jacking the thread. To OP, sorry my friend.
