As more users have this problem lately, is it possible it has something to do with the new CFWs or latest OFWs? Are you on or did you try CFW 3.55?

Thanks for trying to help... Don't get me wrong this will work for most people it's just our systems are not wanting to cooperate... This is fixable its just near impossible

I was on 3.55 CFW when the problem started. On my attempt to fix it I updated to 4.31 OFW but nothing changed.

By the way according to the following article it is possible to downgrade to 3.55 CFW without flashing anything right?

I'm affraid you have to have a flasher to downgrade ...l something like an e3 flasher but they are hard to get hold of these days.

Paid 120 quid for mine

Somebody on eBay with a name of bdefriess101 sells e3's but at a high price (it's where I got mine)

Following seems self explanatory...

Notice:Downgrade if you already updated to 4.31 use this Downgrade! You must be on OFW 4.31 if not then FW update.
You DON’T need Flasher (E3 flasher, progskeet) You need only USB Stick with minimum capacity 256mb.

Does not really seem legit ... If its on ps3hax it's legit so I wouldn't try it

Good news ps3 now on 3.55rogero cfw

Bad news hdmi issue still occurs.. Guess all I can do is wait for my ps3 to change its mind about my tv, wait for the switcher tomorrow or wait until I get a new tv.

But I'm not giving up for you. I'll keep trying
