It's a complete mystery. If you are desperate in a game, you can try using CMP Auto Tools 6.3 and do eboot modding. It's only downsides compared to CodeUnique is that you can't toggle codes with buttons, and eboot modding can't write to memory addresses.

so with these CMP Auto Tools can I make a game remember the cheats forever so they're activated even if I mount it from multiman without using codeunique?

You're basically making a cheat pkg that install as GD or HD. GD is Game Data. You update the GD with the cheats and the game cheats are always active. HD is a game icon in the game column. You can play the game using the cheat icon or using the disc without cheats.

Ok, so how can I (for example) make the assassin's creed 3 cheats into a cheat pkg?

I've found a McCode text in there and it says to put codes in between the dots. Am I supposed to see the codes from the ps3 cheats editor and to paste them between dots? If so, then how do I put multiple codes in there? Do I do that with space in between the codes? And after that how do I save it to a PKG?

CMP auto tools only work with original game patterns and cheat patterns. If you want those patterns, go over to their website, codemasters-project and request them there. These patterns will not work with the cheat editor or cu2.
