people on the torrent were complaining about a "param.sfo" missing, so I'm going with it was a bad rip.

I have the same problem with this "Game Quit: No Request Event"

The games itself does show up for me in XMB but I still have to launch it from multMAN first then it says "Game Quit: No Request Event" so I then get directed back to XMB where I click on app home folder and then the game will load. Will see if I can figure out why this happens with some games and if I find out will post here. I reinstalled bdemu2 from this site and it made no difference. Rogero manager will load games fine but it is XMB that won't always work.

/showthread.php?p=475653

My PS3 is on 3.55 (3.66 spoof) Rebug Hermes v4 SC-36
multiMAN 4.0.8
It was 4.0.2 before that and no games would backup at all. This is a console I inherited from someone else so not sure why it is like this or its history.

So far I am only using my old game discs so should be no incompatibilities here. And no corruptions either as no errors show. Will update if I find anything consistent with this. I just feel the risks of bricking my console are high if I want to upgrade CFW to higher version or any other CFW for that matter if done incorrectly without having a flasher, and then there is a lot of hassle and work ahead even with that.

Just download BDemu2 from another place other than the one you used

the way it works is you load the game from multiman, then back at the XMB you select appdata/PS3 or whatever is.

Thanks guys. I am wondering if it is normal and not a fault for some CFW or just the combination or backup manager or the method I am using. So far I only use multiMAN on this console and it works great apart from what I described above.

The games I install never show up on XMB (only in multiMAN or other manager). The installation directory seems alright but I will see if I can check the multiMAN OS file manager and see where the game that shows up in XMB is installed.

The one game I inherited with the console is a game on here that shows up in game menu on XMB, so I am thinking this is related to the cause. I will try bdemu2 again from another source first and then the other things I mention in this post and let you know. Also have an issue backing up my DVDs and BDs...just sticks on "verifying data, please wait" like it did with game backups until I updated multiMAN. Not sure I will likely fix this though and it isnt essential to my needs either. Thanks again!

Game quit: no request event is a perfectly normal and expected message to see if you are using debug or rebug firmwares.

It is just a confirmation to let you know that a game really did quit and now the system is idle.

This information is useful to developers.

No you can't turn it off.

Im on rebug 4.21 with mm 4.10. I also get this error everytime i load a game from mm.

It sends me back to the xmb with this error. Then i start the game from the disc icon. No issues. Every game works.

Im thinking its normal. And maybe since mm is just loading the game and not starting it we get this error. I have not tried to direct boot from mm.

Maybe its not an error but jus letting us know there was no request to "start" the game but mm did load it. No?
