I'm having a problem dumping my bios when I dump it does the 3 100% thing no error codes and when I take my sd card put after Turing of my ps3 and into my pc via card reader there is no dumped bios on the ad cars nor log I looked every where for a solution but no one has this error . I formatted my ad card to fat 32 (I used this as cars to root my nook and made it a bootable as card) but I formatted it so it should remove everything off of it ? My ps3 is a cech-2001a 4.30 fw slim

wouldnt matter if it was a boot card i dont think. I have a couple usbs made into boot drives, and you can still read and write to them in the computer. Correct me if im wrong someone, but if i was you i would just try a different sd card

Ima try to get another one the problem isint the computer I can read and write to the sd card but the e3 flasher isint writing to the sd card I'm confused because I'm not getting any error codes when It finishes dumping the bios

i hear ya. you would certainly get an error code from the flasher if something was wrong. even if the flasher thought everything was ok, but the clip wasnt on good, it would still make a log, and still make a bkpps3.bin file, but the file would be empty or way undersized or all ff and 00.

So should I reseat the clip ,get a new sd card , or buy a replacement for the e3 flasher?

What type of sd card is it? Strange it wouldn't give you an error. It should at least give a log file.

Try and format the sd card to fat32, with the quick box UNCHECKED.
Or try a different sd card.
I use a 1gb Sandisk non sdhc card.

I have a 4gb (don't know brand ) sdhc card and I have a Linux pc so I have to format it using cmd line and I did multiple times to fat32 but same results

I see. are you sure that the files are not on the sd card. But you can't see them. Is there a way on linux to "show hidden files"?
I am not familiar with linux, so I am not sure. But your problem may have something to do with linux.

Do you have a Windows pc in the house, you can try and see if the files show up on there?

I have no idea if can when I show properties on how much memorie is being taken it says 0% I'm borrowing my friends sd card all the computers I have is Linux

Ok I found my problem it's not the e3flasher it was my sd card I used my friend and it works fine now
