Wii U Costs $1000US In Brazil
Earlier i made a post, talking about how the US gets stuff much cheaper than UK/EU territories, but i really should countÂ*myselfÂ*lucky as gamers in Brazil have to pay $1000US for the basic 8GB model, now what is not clear, is if this price is the official price or import price, but it is Brazil and electronics are known to be notoriously highly priced, here is a quote and images from the source:

Man, I don't have words to say how much I hate here (Brazil).
When my father going to Italy, he bought my PS3 there, if I'm not wrong, he paid arround 300USD... when the same PS3 here was at 1200R$ :// |

yep, thats pretty normal around here.
I paid 680 for my ps3 and that was 1 year ago, used.
