yes solder it and the ps3 should halt
on e3 its sbe on the ribbon and first switch up (flash fun)

if it still ylod's then do the checks

fan is attached and does run

thermal compound has been changed

if it doesnt halt then see if you can do a new dump & compaire it with your origional
(when you take the dump off your sd card re-name it "ylod error.bin" as you dont want to flash this one back by mistake)

ok, this thread has been reported 3 times now due to errors/people bricking etc (no details given)

if the person reporting would care to help correct the errors there wouldnt be any more problems to report right?

@japsander I know there are several post to go through but he has basically come out and said that anyone that has bricked did so because they did something wrong. He is refusing to fix it and has done so for some time. Even @euss called him out on his errors. Personally I would have trashed it a long time ago

actually i have discussed this with @GregoryRasputin
and there is no indication of where exacly the problem with the guide is
the wiki was changed but the checks i do are the same as in the wiki just the otherway around
also read the first post i have put a list there.

this guide took me 3 months to put together
it was not a half hearted chucked together guide

if you can show me a guide that shows what mine does plus more than fine shut the guide.

the wiki claims to have 10 ppl brick due to the guide saying to delete before verifying the dump.
but the guide has never said this EVER
i was also told the guide is just a cut and paste of the wiki.
if that is true then the wiki is also wrong if its a cut and paste!

the biggest problem here is that there is supposed to be issues yet i couldnt get any help about where it is wrong.
so i have made guesses at where its wrong but when i look close at the wiki i just cannot find what is different

@judges you helped with the TEENSY++ side of the guide

heve either of you found anything wrong / a brick issue with this guide?

well i have no idea what the issues are and wouldnt know where to look to be honest.

as i said earlier, if the reporter would identify and help with said issues there would be no need for reporting at all. with no details given, how can they be resolved?
