I don't play the game online so cannot test this..
In the tools @deank released the other day you have the tool to change Game Data Mode in your XMB? What if you was to change that from HDD to USB (when booting game from disc) that way Multiman and homebrew disappear from the XMB.. Just an idea and new to all this so please don't flame if it's the stupiest idea in the world

Anyone else could confirm that this method works with an account which was previously banned?
After deleting MM you can reinstall it normally can't you? |

Hence why this trick is better, it hides multiman and every other homebrew app on the XMB when in USB mode. So if this pans out...no deleting/reinstalling multiman needed. I just made room on my usb for the copying my BOPS2 backup...so i will report back if this pans out and will try my two banned accounts.

So I was thinking. 1. clean install of black ops 2 on the HDD 2. delete all previous game data 3. open multiman and bd mirror black ops 2 from external 4. at xmb change game mode to USB 5. Multiman is still there but it doesn't work, as I guess it can't find the files 6. my guess is black ops would still boot as it's on the USB HDD 7. game mode is in USB so the servers might not be able to detect multiman on the HDD just a thought, only got the PS3 on Monday so as I said I'm new to all this..

but how do u change the game mode in xmb? Last edited by kevin_1351; 11-30-2012 at 03:43 PM. |
